Antony Hylton explores how the Hebrew letters, the divine Name Yahuwah, and the revelation of Yeshua HaMashiach converge in a theology of creation, prophetic speech, eschatology, and human transformation.
Drawing on Sefer Yetzirah, the ancient Book of Formation, this volume examines the letter-grammar of creation: the thirty-two paths of wisdom, the ten sefirot, the twenty-two Hebrew letters, and the mysterious structure by which the world is formed through divine speech. It then turns to Abraham Abulafia, the great medieval prophetic Kabbalist, whose works Imrei Shefer and Sefer ha-Ot present a dynamic vision of Hebrew letters, divine Names, prophetic consciousness, and the coming restoration.
At the same time, this book places these mystical traditions in conversation with Scripture, Luther's theology of the Word, Pentecostal experience, and the New Testament proclamation that the Name above every name has been bestowed upon Yeshua.
