Nalani and the Coast Care Crew is an inspiring story about kids who care about their community and the environment. Nalani, the main character, is a 12-year-old girl who loves spending time at the beach. She's sad because her favorite spot is covered in trash, mainly plastic! Nalani learns that plastic pollution is a big problem for ocean animals and the whole planet. Instead of just wishing things were different, Nalani decides to take action!

Nalani knows she can't do it alone, so she teams up with her friends Mateo and Aya. Together, they form the Coast Care Crew, a group dedicated to cleaning up the beach and making it beautiful again. They even come up with a cool name for their mission on social media - #CoastalCare!

During their clean-ups, they meet three cool surfers, Larry, Jake, and Maya. The surfers are super interested and decide to help out too. They use their surfboards to reach the trash floating in the water away from the beach!

There are some obstacles they face but things resolve to their satisfaction!

The story shows how even small actions can make a difference and that working together can create positive change. It teaches us that we should never give up on protecting our environment!
