Nachrichten Von Armenstiftungen In Der Stadt Baireuth Aus Dem 18ten Jahrhunderte offers a detailed look into the administration and activities of charitable foundations in the city of Baireuth during the 18th century. Penned by Friedrich Wilhelm Anton Layritz, this historical account provides valuable insights into the social structures and philanthropic practices of the time. The book sheds light on the roles these institutions played in supporting the poor and vulnerable populations, offering a glimpse into the daily lives and challenges faced by both the benefactors and the beneficiaries.
Layritz's work is a vital resource for historians and researchers interested in German social history, the history of philanthropy, and the specific regional history of Baireuth. Its enduring appeal lies in its meticulous documentation and its contribution to understanding the complexities of social welfare in pre-modern Europe.
