Breads invaded Thompson's house on morning and threatened to beat him if he didn't stop prying in his family's affair. Thompson's dog Perkins attacked him. They fought, and Perkins bit him on his ass. Others got involved, including the police. Breads was furious. Thompson soon learned the hard price for meddling in people's business; the taste and smell of blood, the cold-hearted murder of his loved one, and the crippling pain it brought.
