Your responsibility to learn about your identity.
Your responsibility to stand up for yourself.
Your responsibility to be patient with yourself.
Your responsibility to educate others.
Your responsibility to be kind to yourself.
Your responsibility to be proud of who you are.
You are responsible for your body, so why would you not be responsible for what you read?
In all matters, in life, you are supposed to be responsible for what you do.
If you want freedom, you have to be responsible about what you will do with it.
It is all connected.
You cannot separate them.
So, yeah, responsibility might sound scary, but it is also empowering.
It means you have the power to make a difference in your own life and in the world around you.
This book is not just about my journey from being a boy to becoming a girl. I talk about how I felt and what happened when I decided to transition. It is full of real cool stuff about transition experiences, and I hope it helps other individuals like me feel less alone. There are also lots of cool illustrations to look at.
In one line, I would say this book is a compelling account of the challenges and triumphs of gender transition.
