The author was inspired by her former career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, working in the pediatric setting she often used books during treatment sessions. It was a way for her to maximize treatment outcomes. My three year old loved this book! The colors and illustrations really grabbed his attention, and he loved playing the activity to find all of the elephants. He was excited to share what he would do with a tiny pet elephant! As a parent I loved the fun elephant facts and ideas for interactive activities at the back of the book. Awesome book for more than just story time!
