Delores Dement Plyler, or Dee as her friends call her, is an artist in North Carolina. Known for transforming tiny pen dots into gorgeous ink art, Dee has always had an eye for shading. When she discovered adult coloring books, she noticed that shading could elevate coloring pages into works of art. Dee soon learned from fellow coloring enthusiasts that they found shading to be challenging. Seeing a great need, Dee came up with an idea to offer coloring books that served as shading tutorials. By combining her love of drawing and adult coloring, Dee has created the A Little Shady series of coloring books. On some of her beautifully drawn pages, you will find a detailed shaded drawing and beside it, a more basic version.
