I was born and raised on the Island of St Vincent and the Grenadines. I grew up with My grandparents and was taught about the bible from a very young age. I was told the importance of becoming a Christian, what it's like to trust in God and believe that he will provide for me. I went through some hard times in life but nevertheless, God was always by my side. I may not have acknowledge his presence all the time but I knew deep within me that he was there, even though I couldn't see nor touch his physical body. I came to the United States in 2010 to pursue a higher education but things got a little bit harder than I thought. That was when I've realized that I need God now more than ever. I started to pray more and my relationship with him grew stronger. I may not be where I would like to be at this moment but I know that the plans God has for me are far more better than those I have for myself.
