Track and Field is for everyone: Big or little, tall or small! Join dad and his daughter for an exciting and fun-filled day experiencing each event. Important lessons are also to be learned as dad coaches his team at a track meet.

My Dad Coaches Track and Field is an imaginative introduction to track and field through the eyes of a track coach's child. From tracks event of sprinting and distance running, to jumps and throws, My Dad Coaches Track and Field explores a variety of events and introduces young readers to the sport. Young readers will learn powerful, life-long lessons of hard work, consistency, dedication and more as athletes compete in events through the imagination of a little girl with her dad at a track meet.

Author Bio: TODD KLAMM is a high school teacher and coach that resides in Kansas. His passion for athletics has been life-long as he participated in a variety of sports from a young age. Now a coach of many years (Track & Field, Cross Country, Baseball), Todd developed a passion for creating a children's book when he became a father to his two children, a daughter 3.5 years of age and a son that is 6 months old. My goal is to create vivid, insightful and impactful ways to introduce young readers to sports from an early age. Sports have played a big role in my personal development and I hope to foster the growth of sports as a whole for future athletes.

Illustrator Bio: KAYLA PHAN is a freelance illustrator based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
