Does your little one have favorite foods? Discover a short, sing-song book that celebrates all their happy, wonderful characteristics with vibrant illustrations and a memorable rhyme.
For a short bedtime read that makes children laugh, learn, and engage with reading, choose My Baby's So Sweet.
Inspired by a real baby with some of her favorite foods, My Baby's So Sweet captures the theme of sweetness with Baby's favorite foods, and it celebrates what makes Baby so special in a fun and charming way! Author Margaret McCoy created the rhyme after dinner one night during her daughter, Moxie's, nightly bath time routine. Now, at almost 4, Moxie can recite the rhyme by heart with Margaret-and even baby brother, Zeller, enjoys chanting along when the rhyme uses his name.
My Baby's So Sweet is a darling book beautifully illustrated by a dear family friend (Anna Mary Hollis) that features a rhyme young children can remember by heart and a story that encourages a bond between reader and listener. It is also great for new readers because they can sound out the words within the narrative's simple format.
For fans of children's classics like Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown, Brown Bear Brown Bear by Eric Carle, Barnyard Dance! by Sandra Boyton, and/or Snuggle Puppy by Sandra Boyton, My Baby's So Sweet provides the same nursery rhyme-like narrative in a unique story that makes the little reader the star! The author's note to the grown-up reader even encourages them to use the listener's name to facilitate engagement.
