SdÃlà radosti i tězkosti emigrace, zkusenosti z pracovnÃho i osobnÃho zivota v Kanadě a návraty vzpomÃnek do vlasti.
Kniha zachycuje i jejà lásku k hudbě a osobnostem, které ji ovlivnily - Martu Kubisovou, Karla Gotta, Waldemara Matusku či tanečnÃka Jana Kohouta. Současně vyprávà o vÃře, odvaze, ztrátách a nových začátcÃch, o stářà i o radosti z tance, který se stal novou zivotnà cestou.
Své mÃsto zde majà i zvÃřata, předevsÃm kočky, jimz autorka věnuje výtězek z prodeje knihy. Můj zivot je inspirativnÃm přÃběhem o sÃle překonávat překázky, nacházet stěstà a zÃt naplno v kazdém věku.
