A young bear cub named Tobias (Ty) who along with his classmates has a big decision to make about a gift they have to buy for someone special. Ty has a great idea of his own. It seems that everyone is not happy with his decision. Will they find the perfect gift?
And more...This book was written to promote self confidence and character building in our youth. There is always something you can say that will make a difference.
Ty learns that standing up for yourself in decision making situations will not always have a perfect outcome, but neither will beating up on yourself if it doesn't. There are challenges that come from both listening to peers or what going through a situation alone can be like. It's important to discuss feelings while helping to build self esteem, character, and confidence. This story also teaches us that Unique ideas have a place in this world.
