Monumental Coins: Buildings & Structure

A retired Toronto architecture professor, who is a collector of Greek and Roman coins, introduces coins of the ancient world and the architectural wonders they portray (e.g. temples, picture postcards from the Acropolis). Includes photographic plates of 100 coins (about half of those discussed), line drawings and computer-generated plans and details of structures, and a glossary of numismatic terms.
