Moment In The Sand does not force the reader to see the world afresh, but to pay closer attention to another's interpretation of a world charged with all kinds of jumbled emotions, full of pain, lingering grief, appalling apathy, and then, perhaps, hope. It draws attention to life's complexities, especially those facing a particular strong but vunerable woman. On a conscious level, there is that sense of imagination swirling in the mind and heart of one whose life's journey is less than a perpetual love affair. However, on an unconscious level, there is a yearning and longing for understanding, compassion, and answers. While life's inquiries may never be answered, the heartwhencing passion of introspection clings, throbes, and makes the reader uncomfortable enough to cry while reading Moment In The Sand again and again and again!
