Home again in Italy, fifteen years after her parents' tragic death there, Lucia is determined not to lose anything more to the passionate chaos of the beautiful country. The problem is that a part of her she has locked away for years both fears and yearns for that passion. Soon after her plane lands, she's confronted with the mayhem of an aunt who manages the family construction business using mismatched Godfather quotes; the intensity of an uncle who approaches Italian ingredients as if they held the answer to creation; and the love of a quirky English guy whose crumbling villa takes them on a journey around Italy in search of his missing religious icons. It all makes Lucia wonder, is it possible to find, rather than lose, your life through passion?Part Letters to Juliet, part Notting Hill, Molto Mayhem captures the reader's heart with quirky characters and delicious descriptions of food and setting. Ms. Wilsted tackles perceptions of grief, religion, and Italy with her trademarks of humor and honesty.
