If you enjoy seeing the workings of a truly original mind, this is a great book for you. The premise of each story is a very unusual take on the sorts of questions that humanity wrestles with. Even questions that we wrestle with all the time (examples: how can an omnibenevolent God let humans suffer? what does a perfect world look like-and would we really like it?) receive unique treatment.-Ina Roy-Faderman

I love love love 'Chasing Kerouac'!!!-Robin Stratton

Robert Peate's first collection features stories written from 2008 to 2012.

Chasing Kerouac is about a young man obsessed with finding a lost Jack Kerouac story.

A Perfect World asks, What would a perfect world look like?

Neighbors is about a man who suspects child abuse next door.

The Deity asks, What would a loving god be like?

Mister Negative is about a man who says whatever he wishes without regard for the consequences.

The Creeps is Peate's first serious ghost story, based on experiences from when he was fifteen.
