The series begins in the summer of 1987. When Samantha finds herself mistaken for someone else by her neighbor, Julio, she quickly becomes aggravated with him until she ends up in the middle of a Q and A session with this neighbor. At first, Samantha does not like his questions. In fact, she finds them to be rather intrusive as well as embarrassing until she asked him the same questions. To her surprise, Julio answers them honestly, and Samantha learns a lot more than she ever expected about her neighbor. Admitting you are attracted to someone is crazy. Realizing that person is your neighbor that you have known for several years is even crazier. Samantha learns to open herself up to new experiences, and life becomes exciting.
