Nathan is the only person that fully understands Seren, and the internal conflict she feels. When Seren is with Nathan, she forgets her guilt, for a few blissful moments, only to feel guiltier when she remembers. In desperation, she turns into her own mind, and communicates with Daniel's ghost. Her own imagination and twisted sense of logic merges with reality, until she no longer knows what's right or wrong.
