Chic lit author Ady Vaal's new thriller, Meeting Jacob, is a sexy, savvy, and quick-moving tale about friendship, loss, and the incredibly fine line between keeping it all together and utter madness. With a dual plotline that follows, first, Sandra Jefferies who has the world by a string until her accountant dupes her out of her dream-and every red cent she has to her name. And second, a young genius named Jacob Monroe who crosses a dangerous line between interest and obsession, only to find that folly agrees with him. Their paths will cross when Jacob and his brother, Ollie, buy the French restaurant that was once Sandra's pride and joy. With her fortune reversed, Sandra will be facing a new career as a restaurant manager and living on a paycheck-something that she has never done. Jacob will pull the strings to complicate Sandra's world, yet, demons from his past will make her future even more bleak and her road to becoming a self-sufficient adult difficult-and, at times, dangerous.
