This is the true story of Meera and Bob, how they met in London, and courted in the most romantic way with long road trips firstly in UK and then USA and Canada. An amusing mock wedding in Gretna Green on the borders of England and Scotland which set the ball rolling for the real wedding a year later. A trip to New York, with an abandoned marriage proposal on the top of the Empire State Building. An amusing final marriage proposal in a London restaurant, arranging for a wedding and then arranging for a funeral with passing away of Meera's father just a few weeks before the wedding date. A spiritual wedding at the Hare Krishna Temple in Watford and losing passports just before the honeymoon. A wonderful life with 3 children, moving countries firstly to Germany and then to Dubai, with new friendships, and an active life running marathons and then discovery of Cancer and Meera's courageous long battle. The final days in hospital and then back home with love of family and children and the final goodbyes. How Bob coped with the initial loss and strategies for managing children, with support of many friends in Dubai and Meera's legacy continuing with graduation of one of their sons from a UK University ...and life beyond for Bob. By sharing their story, Bob hopes that readers facing similar pain will find comfort, hope, and the reassurance that they are not alone.
