Meet Max, a magical young pony with shimmering rainbow wings who lives in a peaceful bamboo forest--and who is absolutely exhausted today. When Max encounters his friend Lily the rabbit struggling with fear after a failed attempt to jump across a stream, Max faces a choice: give in to his overwhelming sleepiness or find the strength to help. Through gentle persistence and creative problem-solving, Max discovers that true friendship means showing up even when you're tired, and that trying again--even after disappointment--is how we grow stronger. This heartwarming bedtime story weaves a powerful lesson in perseverance into a tender tale of kindness, showing young readers that determination and support from friends can help us overcome our biggest fears.
