A person's personality, or even their very existence, is their memories. At any moment, when we are astonished, we cannot even recognize ourselves. In fact, all the joys and pains of life are merely the interest on the accumulated experience, memories that become more valuable with the passage of time. We move forward in life, our paths change with time, but what remains alive within us is an endless series of memories. I believe that while each person's memories may be personal, the experiences they contain are universal. When you read these stories, I am confident that somewhere in them, you will find a forgotten glimpse of your own life. Believe it or not, the sole cause of our mental happiness or depression is our good and bad memories. If we forget our bad memories, our mental animosity will diminish, and if we keep the good memories alive, life automatically becomes filled with joy. These memoirs share a common element, a central focus: viewing events from a human perspective. This is my second book of short stories in the memoir genre, and like the previous ones, it draws on memories from my own life that inspired, stirred, and compelled me to reflect. I have made this (un)independent attempt to collect these memories from the heart in this memoir, titled Man Ki Niharika. With this memoir, you too will become a companion in my experiences, and you too will find these short stories heartwarming.
