51Works presents Mad Scientist Double Feature, the 'umbrella' title for two separate one-act plays - Mass Grave and Sub-Genre, written by acclaimed playwright Darren Callahan (The White Airplane, Horror Academy, Beautiful Women in Terrible Trouble). MASS GRAVE: Dr. Savaard is dead. He was executed following a trial for murder. So why is he hosting a dinner party for the very people who condemned him? Dr. Savaard uses the power of science to create a house of hidden terrors in this twisted tale of justice from the beyond. SUB-GENRE: A husband searches for his missing wife in an abandoned hospital. On his journey he meets a cryptic guide, a sex-crazed girl, a competing suitor, and a pioneering doctor who decapitates his patients. A horror story of double-crossing nightmares and the potential for rat-run surgical enhancements.
