This book takes its inspiration from a book I had read earlier in the 90s by Dr. Roy Hicks, who happened to be the General Supervisor of the Foursquare Church International. He was the writer and author of the book Praying Beyond God's Ability: The Enigma (Mystery) of Unanswered Prayer.

Now, is there an unanswered prayer? Look at all the commentaries of scripture and the things said about prayer from the lips of Jesus and the predecessors who are the prophets of the Old Testament and, of course, the writers of the New Testament. We will hardly find anyone speaking about an unanswered prayer. In our earlier book, Because I Prayed, we did examine James 4 and other texts that view and examine the power and the concept of prayer. Here, we will be advancing it to see how prayer advances God's course and furthers it in the earth.
We believe that the believer who picks this book will be inspired to pray and to see a God who has given to his creatures, particularly the believing ones, the power to cause things to happen according to his own will on the face of the earth.

And this is what this book will inspire. It will stir churches, stir ministers, and stir believers to see how much great power we have with God and what can be done through it in the name of Jesus.
