About the Book
The book Mysticism and Spirituality from the Perspective of Science is intended to cultivate a worldview in agreement with current scientific views. We know many things but understand very little. A common notion is that science is opposed to religion and that religion is illogical. When teenagers start thinking logically, they oppose many things; the first is religion, and then social norms. They oppose religion mostly because it argues for moral discipline, and they think they can live without the constraints of religion. They are subject to natural philosophy and are often confused about many things. One aftereffect of naturalism is the altered state of consciousness. They think differently and do differently. A correct worldview that incorporates science, religion, and philosophy is essential for self-correction. This book attempts to build a scientific worldview and teach a mystical spiritual experience accordingly. This approach will give direction to ordinary human understanding of life.
