This is a fictitious story for young adolescents.
It is a mystery set in the 1950s in and around the East London area.
A group of young adolescents decide to make a' Penny for the guy' for fireworks night during the school half term holiday. Whilst trying to collect money for fireworks they are approached by a mysterious man who takes their tin of money, in a threatening and criminal way. Some of the children, therefore decide to try and bring the man to justice. However, he continues to elude capture even though he carries out a number of further incidents that impact on the children and their families. Can the mysterious man be caught or is his ability to remain elusive going to prevent it. Will the children and their families ever be able to get back to normal without the mysterious man's disruption in their lives.
