The Mystery of the Stone People

Leo and Sophie thought a seasonal gig at The Zen Nest-a cluster of ultra-luxury cabins perched on the edge of Cascade Canyon-would be a peaceful break from the usual mountain drama. But when a high-strung wedding party arrives with a map to the Stone People of the hoodoos, the thin mountain air begins to crackle with more than just romance.

While the guests hunt for the mystical guardians of the Paiute legends, a very real threat is lurking in the shadows of the Dixie National Forest. A series of high-tech thefts is targeting the area's most secluded hikers, and the clues are pointing straight back to the Nest's pristine decks. With a special gift from the canyon itself and a little help from a line-dancing DJ, Leo and Sophie must navigate treacherous trails and wedding-day whims to uncover a mundane predator before the legendary Stone People decide to intervene.
