Timothy North's ambition in life is to follow in his father's footsteps and inherit the town's apothecary shop. Before he can do this he must learn all the skills necessary. But while out collecting and identifying herbs he discovers a mysterious rock. Timothy takes the rock, putting another in its place and returns the following day.
