The world-famous myth of Lilith is given a chilling interpretation. In the film Antichrist (2009), Danish director Lars von Trier works carefully with metaphors that refer to the origin of the world. The religious version takes a turn with the events that follow, with characters as contradictory to religion as their actions. The complexity of the characters induces the viewer to want to get to know them better in order, perhaps, to understand them. The relationship between death and life can be darker than you might think.
