But her imagination is no match for the real horrors that lurk behinds these walls, and she is irrevocably drawn into a mystery and conspiracy from which she may never escape. For at Belmont Hall, the sins of the past will emerge, love is never innocent, and Eleanor must choose between escaping the darkness and learning to live within it.
The Mystery of Belmont Hall is a playful parody of the Gothic novel, and deals with the ideas of cliché and misinterpretation.
