The book is organized by stroke, not in alphabetical order. When letters are taught to children by stroke, which means letters with similar line strokes are grouped together, children tend to learn how to write and recognize those particular letters first. In addition, lowercase letters are commonly seen in children reading and writing. Therefore, all lowercase letters will come first, prior to the uppercase letters in this book.
