As a writer, he stepped into a different arena, capturing the voices, triumphs, and struggles of the sports' greatest legends, while working for publications like Ring Magazine and The Sporting News. He interviewed superstars like Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Danny Lopez, Jerry Quarry, Bob Arum, Don King, Angelo Dundee and countless others. While listening to their stories, Tuthill learned about their strategies, philosophies and their will to succeed.
