They went everywhere together.
Through muddy puddles, big adventures, ordinary days, and some very important growing up, one little pair of jeans was always there.
But one morning-TUG! PULL! SQUISH!-they simply didn't fit anymore.
Being outgrown feels an awful lot like being left behind...until a pair of scissors, a little imagination, and plenty of stitching reveal that something loved doesn't have to be finished just because its first job is.
My Favorite Jeans is a warm, whimsical picture book about growing up, holding onto memories, and discovering the fun, sentimental, and artistic possibilities of repurposing the things we love.
With a cozy handmade denim-and-patchwork world, gentle humor, and a heartwarming message, this story reminds young readers:
Worn out doesn't mean finished. Sometimes it means you're ready for your next adventure.
