My Endless Journey explores the many phases and experiences of my life-both the joyful and the difficult-and the challenges I've faced and overcome along the way. These moments, past and present, have shaped who I am and prepared me for future trials. The book reflects on the valuable lessons I've learned and the new perspectives I've gained through my personal journey.
At its core, this book is about self-discovery. It invites readers to reflect on various viewpoints and life experiences to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. By examining what we collectively value-our families, beliefs, aspirations, and sense of identity-it highlights how these elements guide us toward building a better, more resilient future.
I was born on May 15, 1991, in The Gambia-the smiling coast of West Africa-to Gambian-Senegalese parents. Later, my older sister and I moved to U.S in Anchorage, Alaska, where we reunited with our parents. I come from a traditional African family on both sides, deeply rooted in our Muslim faith, cultural values, and customs. I am the third of nine siblings, though sadly, we lost two of my brothers along the way. I graduated from Bartlett High School in Anchorage in May 2010, and went on to pursue higher education. I later earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022.
