Hear the genuine thoughts and feelings of COVID-19 from a child's voice in this cute and inspirational children's picture book, written and illustrated by 5-year-old Amadea Violetta.
In a genre dominated by adult authors rather than child authors, Amadea's perspective on the current pandemic is honest and refreshing. My Dreams was written and illustrated by Amadea to encourage children during the uncertain times of COVID-19 to focus on their hopes and dreams.
In this book, Amadea describes her dreams of what she hopes to do when the lockdown and pandemic come to an end. They are sweet and simple hopes of a child, such as seeing her grandparents, searching for a deer in the forest, picking berries and going on a Ferris Wheel with her school friends.
Ever since she was 9 months old, Amadea has spent most of her time with her head in a book. She is a chatty little girl with lots to say and has a BIG imagination! My Dreams is an inspiring picture book that reminds children to dream, even when they are feeling confined. The book has beautiful hand-drawn illustrations with vibrant colors and has the power to inspire all children and families to have hope for a brighter future.
It is perfect for bedtime reading and also classroom reading due to the educational nature of the story. It is a great book for parents to read to their children but also ideal for little ones learning to read themselves.
10% of profits will be donated to an animal charity, as Amadea has a passion and love for all animals, big and small.
Join Amadea on her journey, in this heartfelt, honest and beautifully illustrated picture book today and share in her vision for a better tomorrow.
