This book of children's poems is all about animals and insects.
Their funny antics are written about in a humorous style, with some thoughtful lines thrown in.
Some of the poems are true stories, based upon the author's observations and experiences with animals, which are just plain silly. They will make you chuckle.
I really did meet the cheekiest mouse in the world, and one dark night I saw a hedgehog jogging up the main street.
The cartoon-style illustrations in the book are bright, colourful and fun to look at, for any child.
Hopefully these poems will start children off on their own journey of wonder and enjoyment of the written word.
Poetry can be fun!
