Dive into the world of colors with this uniquely designed learning book, tailored for early learners and made inclusive for those with cortical visual impairment (CVI) or low vision. Each page is crafted to emphasize distinct color contrasted on a black background, providing an accessible experience that enhances color recognition. Using real images, from the vibrant red of a ripe apple to the soothing green of nature every color is presented in a clear and accessible way.
Perfect for young learners navigating the complexities of CVI, this book encourages exploration and discovery, making the journey of learning colors both engaging and enriching.
Inside you will find 13 pages donated to each color, which includes:
- 2 simple shapes
- 4 high contrast photos of a single simple image on a black background
- 2 photos with simple background to build level of complexity, set on black page
- 3 pages to add your own images from the space around your child to help solidify color to memory (this is especially important for those children who have difficulty with novelty - being able to add images of your own familiar objects)
All pages are printed with premium ink with a solid black background.
