Where does art and creativity begin; where does it end? How do words and emotions conceived in the mind, or perhaps the soul, find their way onto a piece of paper? Is poetry set in archaic rigidity or is it shapeless and forever unconventional? How can mental illness be tamed? MOUTH TAPE is a poetic and contemplative journey, once traveled and forever remembered. It is pain and love, life and death, despair and lament, intrigue and wonder. Bitter bites of the macabre, sweet tones of euphoria, and eldritch atmospheres take you on my journey. Time on the road, at war, in love, at loss, and at the edge of giving up all hope weave their way through this collection. Written in rundown laundromats, dark cafes, guest bedrooms, paltry hotels, cramped back seats, and on the cold floor of delerium, MOUTH TAPE found its way here.
