Monsters in the Closet is a fierce, unapologetic collection of queer poetry that prowls the borders of desire, fear, and transformation. Blending gothic sensuality, raw confession, and mythic longing, Ryder Tombs crafts a world where love is both sacred and profane-where vampires kneel in prayer, werewolves tremble beneath the weight of hidden hunger, and ghosts linger, aching for a life never fully lived.
From the firelit shadows of clandestine love to the neon-lit streets where sinners and saints intertwine, these poems embrace the monstrous and the beautiful within. With searing eroticism, haunting tenderness, and unflinching rage, Monsters in the Closet is a reclamation of queerness-its pain, its power, its defiance.
For those who have ever been called unnatural, unholy, or untamed-this book howls back.
DisclaimerMonsters in the Closet is a collection of slow-burn MM romantic poetry with emotionally charged tension, deeply felt connection, and physical intimacy that stays closed-door. While desire simmers beneath the surface and kisses carry weight, there are no explicit on-page sex scenes.
