Moms are multitudes: whole, messy, luminous, intrepid, complicated, vulnerable humans. Moms experience the gamut of thoughts, aspirations and emotions -- including getting mad.

While arguably a children's book for its fun and engaging patter and lively adornments, Moms Get Mad doesn't shy from some sophisticated vocabulary (and more power to this fearless feature). Adorned by the author's original art, jauntily combining watercolor with old school paper, scissors and glue collage (also known as kindergarten skills), Moms Get Mad is a creative, touching, funny, reassuring, honest ode to mothers everywhere who feel the triumph and trials of an unrelenting fact: that at the end of each day (if you're lucky), it will start all over again tomorrow (actually, today, in just a few hours. Because it's 3 a.m.).
At some point, it serves the interest of both mom and children to transcend mother-child dynamics and glimpse each other's identity as multi-faceted and uniquely storied. This dimensional transformation is the subliminal and lasting gift of Moms Get Mad.
