Let's be real, Cancer sucks in every form and hurts even worse when you're a young mother with children, going through this. I recently was diagnosed, battled, and beat stage 3 breast cancer. As a mom of 4, my youngest was 6 at the time of diagnosis, and it was incredibly hard for her to understand what was going on. As breast cancer has become a larger problem, for much younger women, being able to talk to and teach young children about what the process could look like is an important milestone in this journey. I want to share my story with imagery and illustrations and how we came out on top despite this horrible disease. I would love to help as many people as possible navigate these waters, and give hope that they too will get through this.
