The Minnesingers V1: Translations (1909) is a book by Jethro Bithell that contains translations of German medieval love songs known as Minnesang. These songs were written by poets and musicians known as Minnesingers who lived between the 12th and 14th centuries. The book includes translations of songs by well-known Minnesingers such as Walther von der Vogelweide, Heinrich von Morungen, and Wolfram von Eschenbach. The songs are accompanied by an introduction that provides historical and cultural context for the Minnesang tradition. This book is an important resource for scholars and enthusiasts of medieval literature and music, as well as anyone interested in the history of German culture. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
