One morning I was reading in the book of John. As I began to read in the fourth chapter, it was as if I was listening to myself quoting verses twenty-two to twenty-four. It seems as if a siren went off in my head. Some words seem to pop up off of the page: true worshipper, worship the Father in spirit and truth, must worship in spirit and truth. I started searching and found some explanations, but they did not satisfy or clearly explain this passage. Thus the birth of this study began.
