The Mind Of Christ In His Ministers is an ordination sermon delivered by George William Douglas in the crypt of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York, on December 22nd, 1907. This sermon explores the profound responsibilities and spiritual depths required of Christian ministers. Douglas eloquently articulates the necessity for ministers to embody the mind of Christ, offering guidance and inspiration to those entering the sacred vocation.
This historical sermon provides valuable insights into early 20th-century religious thought and the expectations placed upon spiritual leaders. It remains a relevant and thoughtful examination of faith, duty, and the pursuit of divine purpose in service to others. Readers interested in religious history, Christian ministry, and the art of sermon delivery will find this a compelling and insightful read.
