See the world through a puppy's eyes! A cute and educational story written by a veterinarian specialising in animal behaviour.
Have you ever wondered what a dog feels when leaving its mum and arriving at a new home?
In Mimi and Ramona: The Adventure Begins, you will join Mimi, a Boxer puppy, on the most important day of her life: her adoption. Narrated entirely from her perspective, this book invites children (and grown-ups!) to experience first-hand the emotions, doubts, and joys of joining a human family.
Through these pages, Mimi learns alongside her new friend Ramona to:
- Overcome her fear of the unknown and travel by car.
- Adapt to her new home and meet other dogs (like Beta).
- Play nicely without biting hands.
- Learn where to go to the toilet and how to stay alone calmly.
Written by Clara Pelliza Coderch, a veterinarian with a Master's degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour. Every illustration has been carefully reviewed to reflect real canine body language, helping the whole family learn to interpret what their dogs are saying with their gestures and postures.
Includes a bonus for parents: At the end of the book, you will find an educational guide with advice on:
How to choose the ideal dog for your family.
The importance of age and breed (dog size).
Responsibility and basic care.
It is the perfect book for:
Families about to welcome a puppy.
Children who love animals.
Parents and educators seeking to teach empathy and responsible pet ownership.
Join Mimi's adventure and learn to be your dog's best friend!
