What if the dragon everyone feared turned out to be the one who needed a friend?
One sunny morning, Milo discovers an old map hidden in Grandpa's attic. Written across the top are three mysterious words: To Dragon Mountain.
With his red cap, trusty blue backpack, and best friend Pip the Penguin beside him, Milo sets off on another unforgettable adventure. Their journey leads them through a magical forest filled with whispering trees, dancing flowers, sparkling rivers, and a mountain shaped like a mighty dragon.
Then a thunderous roar shakes the valley.
Pip hides behind Milo, and even Milo feels a little afraid. But instead of running away, Milo takes a slow breath and wonders whether the dragon might be frightened too.
Behind a giant rock, they discover Ember-a small green dragon with tiny wings, gentle eyes, and a tear rolling down his cheek. Ember is not fierce or dangerous. He is lost, lonely, and unable to find his way home.
Milo and Pip promise to help.
The three new friends soon reach a broken stone bridge stretching across a sparkling river. Ember cannot fly over it, and the path to his home lies on the other side. Working together, they gather logs, strong branches, and long vines. Little by little, they rebuild the bridge and learn that even the biggest problems can become smaller when friends help one another.
When Ember finally returns to the glowing crystal cave, dozens of dragons cheer with joy. Mama Dragon hugs her little one and thanks Milo and Pip for bringing him safely home. The dragons welcome them with glowing berry pie, sweet honey cakes, warm berry tea, laughter, dancing, and magical gifts that will always remind them of their friendship.
Back in his bedroom, Milo places a shimmering golden dragon scale beside the moonstone from his first adventure. As the two treasures sparkle together, a tiny curl of warm smoke drifts from his backpack.
Perhaps the adventure was real after all.
