A Metrical Version Of The Book Of Psalms is a book written by Thomas Turner in 1859. It is a poetic translation of the biblical Book of Psalms, which contains 150 religious songs and poems. Turner's version is written in a metrical form, meaning that it follows a specific pattern of stressed and unstressed syllables, making it easier to sing or chant. The book includes all 150 psalms, each with its own introduction and commentary by the author. Turner's version of the Psalms is intended to be used in public worship and private devotion, providing readers with a new way to connect with the ancient text. The book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in religious poetry, biblical studies, or the history of Christian worship. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
