The Messiah: As Predicted In The Pentateuch And Psalms is a book written by J. Robert Wolfe and originally published in 1855. The book explores the prophecies of the coming of the Messiah in the Old Testament, specifically in the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Bible) and the Psalms. Wolfe examines the various predictions and foreshadowings of the Messiah's arrival, including the promise made to Abraham, the prophecies of Moses and the prophets, and the Messianic Psalms. He argues that these prophecies were fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ and provides evidence from both the Old and New Testaments to support his claims. The book also delves into the historical and cultural context of the prophecies, providing insights into the beliefs and practices of the Jewish people at the time. Wolfe draws from a wide range of sources, including Jewish and Christian commentaries, to provide a comprehensive and well-researched analysis of the Messianic prophecies.Overall, The Messiah: As Predicted In The Pentateuch And Psalms is a scholarly and thought-provoking exploration of the biblical prophecies of the Messiah, offering readers a deeper understanding of the religious and cultural significance of these predictions.Being A New Translation And Critical Exposition Of These Ancient Oracles. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
