This work is written with the desire to encourage parties in commercial disputes to choose arbitration and not litigation. When commercial disputes are resolved through the medium of the courts, it occasions a waste of time and money and may end up creating enmity whose effects are not of interest to profit maximization. Arbitration is as big as litigation and even bigger, meaning arbitration has all the attractive qualities of litigation and further has attractive qualities that do not exist in litigation. For example, like in litigation where parties are protected against abuse of power by judges, in arbitration parties are well protected against misuse of power by arbitrators. But contrary to litigation, arbitration is confidential and more rapid.
