Jumping off from an article by Wade Davis (The Unravelling of America article in Rolling Stone, August 6, 2020; https: //www.rollingstone.com/politics/political-commentary/covid-19-end-of-american-era-wade-davis-1038206/) in which he states that fluidity of memory and a capacity to forget is perhaps the most haunting trait of our species, this collection of poems explores a range of ideas about memory and its many facets. The poems include the abstract and philosophical; a reference to a late 1980s to early 1990s TV series; metaphor; symbolism; discussion of the impact of memory on truth and veracity of evidence; as well personal experience.
